Whalers Way, SA Australia

30 March 2019

This is one of those great spot that’s easy access for anyone travelling around Port Lincoln.

Whalers Way is about 40 minutes out of town and easy access no matter your vehicle or what your towing.

There’s a great little cove with 4WD access, waves on the inside (great swimming and fun for the kids) as well as a left off the point.
But if you head up onto the headland you’ll find the kiosk where you can get your pass to traverse a property that has been family owned since 1887.

$30 gives you access (as well as allows camping) to some amazing coastline with crevasses, lookouts, blowholes and a pretty special swimming hole if you’re prepared to climb for it

Its a bit of a climb down…but its worth it

It’s well worth a day trip. There are facilities inside…but they are pretty run down so I’d personally take my own gear.
