Fowlers Bay, South Australia

Nestled amongst the sand dunes, Fowlers Bay is another amazing spot along the coast of South Australia.

The dunes tower over the town, whilst the wind roars off the Southern Ocean.

A fisherman’s paradise…but for us it was a place to stop, have fun with the kids and explore the dunes, the likes of which I have never seen.

There’s very little in Fowlers Bay, so make sure you have everything you need for your stay. The Kiosk does have a few essentials, and does takeaway food, but otherwise you’ll be heading back to Ceduna.

The park has a camp kitchen, communal fire pit, showers and toilets (Im not going to lie though…everything is incredibly clean, but lack of water pressure does make showering a bit of a challenge). There are even powered sites if required.

If you’re looking for a place to escape and make your own fun…stop in and switch off.

Leave nothing but footprints…
